| September 11th marks the day of one of the single most cowardly acts upon our nation. It was not only the day that terrorists flew our own planes into the World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon and towards our Capitol Building itself, but also the day that our nation came together as one and showed the world that we are not afraid of these cowards and that we will stand together as a people against the acts of terrorism, not only in our own country but in the countries of those who stand behind us, believe in us and are not afraid to fight with us to make this country and this world a safer place to live. God bless those that showed the courage and the heroism to stand up to these cowards and were able to save the lives of many by their brave acts. They lost their own lives in doing so, but saved thousands. They are the true hero's of our nation. |
| You hit the World Trade Center, but you missed America. You hit the Pentagon, but you missed America. Why? Because of something you guys will never understand. America isn't about a building or two..America isn't about a place. America is about an idea. That you can live where you'd like, work where you'd like, build a dream, and pursue happiness. You want us to agree with you on your points. We don't agree with each other in this country, almost as a matter of pride. We are a collection of people that don't agree, called states. We united our individual states to protect ourselves from tyranny in the world. There's a spirit that tends to take over people when they come to this country. Looking for opportunity, liberty and freedom. America lives in the US!! American spirit is what it's called. You may have taken a few thousand of our souls, but that won't change us. Most of the time we are a happy-go lucky kind of spirit. That is until we are crossed in a cowardly manner. Then it becomes an entirely different kind of spirit. Wait until you see what we do with that spirit this time. |
